OLENTANGY MUSIC BOOSTERS is a support organization serving the music students of Olentangy High School, and its' feeder schools, including Shanahan Middle and the elementary schools in our area.
Membership is made up of parents, directors, and interested community members wishing to contribute to the well being of the music programs in the Olentangy Schools.
We are involved in many areas of the music program including, but not limited to:

• Music Booster meetings are on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Olentangy High School Instrumental Music room.
• Financial support - Each director receives a yearly budget allocation
• Olentangy Music Boosters provides approximately 75% of operational funding for music teachers at Olentangy High School and Shanahan Middle School. Only 25% of the director's budgets is provided by Olentangy Local Schools.
• Concession sales at 3 schools
• Washing uniforms
• Chaperoning
• Fundraising endeavors
• Community events
• Set construction
• Friday dinner for band students
  

HOW CAN YOU HELP???

• Get involved! Attend meetings as often as you can.
• Music Booster meetings are on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Olentangy High School Instrumental Music.
• Volunteer to help at the concession stand during football games or other athletic events during the year. It's fun! Sell food, meet people! Concessions support strings, band and choir programs.
• Ask your child's music teacher about ways you can help. They are ALWAYS looking for volunteers.
• Volunteer to help feed the OHS band on Friday afternoon, wash uniforms, or chaperone a trip.
• Help the choir and strings programs with uniform preparation or chaperoning.
